FLOODIE - FLOOD SENSOR

Floodie is placed in areas at risk for leaks and floods. Floodie sends flood alerts by communicating with Flowie or any Alert Labs cellular sensor relay. Alerts are sent to any registered party by text, email or call whenever Floodie makes contact with water. Floodie can also connect to Shuttie devices that automatically turn of water when a flood is detected. Floodie is waterproof and reusable. It can run for two to four years on 2×AA batteries and also detects and alerts you to temperature where installed.

SHUTTIE - AUTOMATED SHUT-OFF VALVE

Shutties are remote water shut-off valves for homes, multi residential properties and commercial buildings. Shutties work hand in hand with Flowies and Floodies to reduce the risk of water damage by letting you shut off water remotely, automatically, or manually during a water loss event. By stopping the flow of water that feeds your water leak, Shuttie minimizes damage without any need for interaction from you or your staff. Available to fit line sizes up to 6”

LEAK CORD - FLOODIE ADD ON

Alert Labs Leak Cords extends a Floodies ability to detect water loss in hard to reach places or at your most vulnerable fixtures. Leak cords plug into Floodie devices and can be wrapped around products, pipes etc or strategically laid on the floor to make the monitored area larger. This add on feature interacts with water in the same way as the Floodie and alerts you to potential leaks whenever coming into contact with water. Leak Cords can also be wrapped around risers, added to fan coils or used on slanted flooring that would funnel water in a specific direction.

SENSOR RELAY - DEVICE COMMUNICATION

The Sensor Relay is a cellular communication hub that allows Alert Labs smart sensors and devices to talk to the AlertAQ™ platform. Sensor Relays by Alert Labs communicate with local cell towers without the need for pre-existing network infrastructure or Wifi and work in buildings from pre-construction stages to existing properties that are fully occupied. Sensor relays also detect temperature in the immediate area where they are installed.

Alerts & Water Shut Downs

During water loss events, Alert Labs dashboards will notify you and any other assigned stakeholders of potential leaks. Leaks alerts can be triggered based on higher than normal water consumption (Flowie Tracked) or when a Floodie comes in contact with water. Where you have Shutties in place, the Alert Labs Dashboard will offer a prompt to turn off water to the property or area, depending on how your systems setup (# of shutties etc) You can also:

  • Set thresholds for alerts based on water consumption variance

  • Dismiss an alert that you know is being managed

  • See the exact area the leak has occurred if detected by a Floodie

  • Subscribe up to 10 users to receive leak notifications by phone, email, text & app
